Free hearing cognitive and screenings available to employees

Do you or your loved ones have concerns about hearing and/or cognition? University of Oregon employees and community members can sign up for free screenings July 11 or 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the HEDCO Clinic.

Participation contributes to a valuable training opportunity for the College of Education communication sciences and disorders graduate students rotating through the Brain Injury and Concussion Clinic as they gain experience working with the adult population.

These screeners donʼt provide a diagnosis, but they are useful tools to figure out if further diagnostic assessment is needed.

The event hosted in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association and takes place at the HEDCO Clinic at 1655 Alder Street, Suite 170, on the Eugene campus. Interested participants can call the front desk at 541-346-0923 to be scheduled on a first come, first served basis.
