The university will honor the recipients of this year’s Outstanding Employee Awards at a reception Nov. 21.

After receiving a number of nominations, the selection committee finalized its decision by selecting 11 classified employees and officers of administration for the annual recognition awards.

Winners are being notified this week in special gatherings within their unit or department in advance of the event. The list of winners will be released on the Office of Human Resources website on Thursday afternoon once all recipients have been personally notified. The reception is Nov. 21 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Ford Alumni Center’s Giustina Ballroom.

The annual Outstanding Employee Awards event is hosted by the Office of Human Resources as part of the university’s employee recognition program. The annual award recognizes UO staff who demonstrate excellence on the job, exemplify the university mission, foster admiration among colleagues and model high performance standards.
