The work is being done to prevent a broad outage that could occur if emergency fixes are not put in place soon.

In addition to his campus appearance, Ogletree also will speak at the First Congregational Church in Portland on Wednesday, Nov. 11.

The band will perform Friday as the 101st annual UO homecoming welcomes alumni, parents and families to campus.

The fair will feature organizations such as Environment Oregon, Amazon, Toyota Motor Sales and the U.S. Department of State.
