Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber has recommended $26 million in state bonding for the Architecture and Allied Arts construction project. The total construction cost of the project is estimated at $53 million. Being on the governor's budget is a milestone achievement for the school's project.The Oregon Legislature will convene in January to review the governor's budget recommendations. The school is now working to raise matching funds through charitable gifts.
