The State Board of Higher Education voted on Friday to approve a University of Oregon request for the chancellor to ask Gov. John Kitzhaber to add the Erb Memorial Union project to the proposed capital projects list that will be forwarded to the legislature.

At 22, he was the senior graduate student in a human physiology laboratory at the University of Oregon. UO Vice President for Equity and Inclusion Yvette Alex-Assensoh held the second of three town hall meetings on Thursday to receive input from students, faculty, staff and the greater community on issues relating to a new strategic action plan for the Office of Equity and Inclusion.
