The UO's 18th president will be introduced to the campus community at a special event today in Willamette Hall.

SEE CURRENT VERSION HERE.The Board of Trustees of the University of Oregon will hold an emergency meeting today, April 14, to discuss the selection of a new university president.The meeting will be held at 12:30 p.m. in Room 403 of the Ford Alumni Center and is open to the public.

Regina Lawrence of the University of Texas will lead the Portland center beginning this July.

Brent Walth of Willamette Week and visiting professor Hector Tobar will be new additions to the school.

Agora Center fellowships allow faculty to pursue projects that help advance communications and democracy.
