The three-year grant will fund a project involving eight leading research teams across four universities
Known as 942 Olive, the new building will house facilities that connect students with local businesses.
The building will be home to two UO programs, the university’s Product Design Program and Tyler Invention Greenhouse.
Kathy Cashman, formerly with geological sciences and now in the UK, also joined the academy that advises the U.S. on science and technology.
