The University of Oregon Ombuds Program has partnered with the Student Conflict Resolution Center to bring virtual trainings to the campus community. Interested attendees can sign up in advance by emailing ombuds@uoregon.edu or by clicking the Zoom link at the start of the session.
This term’s sessions are:
- Basics of Communication: Feb. 18, 10 a.m.
- Effective Communication - Self Advocacy in Difficult Conversations: Feb. 19 4 p.m.
- How to Manage Difficult Conversations with Supervisors: Feb. 20, 4 p.m.
- Cycles of Conflict and De-escalation: Feb. 21, 10 a.m.

The Ombuds Program provides confidential, impartial, independent and informal conflict management assistance to the UO community at no charge. The Student Conflict Resolution Center offers similar services for all UO students.
