Are you one of the many University of Oregon employees managing work and caregiving responsibilities, often at the same time? Do you need help finding care for your children or aging relatives? 

The university has three childcare centers located close to or on the Eugene campus. Sometimes those centers are full, or families would like to explore the full range of options in Eugene-Springfield, Portland or Charleston. And some families have eldercare support needs.

Faculty and staff have access to several employee resources that can help ease your care-finding burden:

• The Office of Human Resources maintains childcare listings from various sources.
• Canopy provides care-finding services at no cost to UO employees. Share your needs with Canopy (login required) and they will respond with a provider listing that meets your criteria.
• Care.com provides a platform for finding and screening care providers. Faculty, classified staff, officers of administration and graduate employees have access to a free premium account.
• The UO maintains its own networks of care providers. Employees and students may join these networks to receive and/or provide care. Contact caregivers@uoregon.edu for more information.
