Beginning Jan. 17, free yoga classes for University of Oregon faculty, staff and graduate students will run from noon to 12:45 p.m. Fridays in 220 Gerlinger Hall.
Instructor Alyssa Cody, a graduate student in the community and regional planning program, has seven years and 500 hours experience in yoga and is a registered teacher. She offers various styles to meet different experience levels and her classes cultivate mindfulness, embodiment and self-compassion.
The classes are a return to a free yoga practice that was popular with faculty and staff at noon Fridays prior to the pandemic.
Bring a yoga mat and wear layers to keep warm. There is no need to register.
