Learn courageous civility in the workplace from best-selling author

A leading expert in workplace civility, equity and inclusion will present tactics and data as part of a movement to change the world based on how employees treat each other at work.

"Courageous Civility with Shola Richards" starts at 2 p.m. on Nov. 7, in the Erb Memorial Union Ballroom, with a book signing and reception to follow the talk.

This event is open and free to all faculty and staff, and the first 200 registrants will receive a complimentary copy of Richard’s new book, “Civil Unity.”

Richards helps organizations build compassion, competence and accountability in the workplace where diverse teams can thrive. He has worked with companies such as Microsoft, Gap and Salesforce, as well as with Congress and major universities; has been featured in Forbes, Black Enterprise and the Today show; and has given a TEDx talk.
