Human Resources is offering benefit-eligible employees an opportunity to assess their emotional wellness by completing the WholeLife Scale online survey. The tool identifies areas that positively affect a person’s life and areas with opportunity for improvement.
Cindi Peterson, benefits manager, said the survey is short and simple, taking no more than 10 minutes to complete. “Employees receive an individualized report based on their responses that focuses attention on what is working and what could be working better,” Peterson said.
HR has joined with Cascade Centers, the UO employee assistance program provider, to expand its wellness offerings for employees by piloting the WholeLife Scale survey. Benefit-eligible employees can take the self-assessment survey by logging into the Cascade Centers website. The WholeLife Scale survey is available now and ends Oct. 10.
To support and reward employees on their journey to better health, current Health Engagement Model participants can use the WholeLife Scale survey as one of the two required wellness activities. According to HR, completing the requirements of the model is a key component of the annual benefits open enrollment process, which affects monthly credit and deductible limits.
The UO Benefits Office encourages benefit-eligible employees to complete the WholeLife Scale survey as a first step towards completing the open enrollment process that kicks off Sept. 29 and runs through October.
