The Board of Trustees of the University of Oregon will convene for its next quarterly meeting June 2-3 at Ford Alumni Center on the Eugene campus.
On Day 1, the board will hear a report on enterprise risk management and a report on the current state legislative session. On the afternoon of the first day, the majority of the meeting will be held for a quarterly financial report and the UO’s financial outlook.
Trustees will also hear public comment, standing reports from the Associated Students of the University of Oregon, the University Senate, board chair Steve Holwerda, Provost Christopher Long and President Karl Scholz on Day 2.
One executive session is scheduled June 2 regarding identity management findings and collective bargaining. There will also be an Executive, Audit and Governance Committee meeting at 10:15 a.m. June 2, preceding the full board meeting.
Three trustees are leaving the board and will be acknowledged during the two-day meeting. Trustees Toya Fick, Ed Madison and Ruby Wool are all finishing their terms. Fick and Madison have served two terms since July 1, 2021. Wool, one of three student trustees, served one term from July 1, 2023.
Nominees are selected by the Oregon governor and approved by the Oregon State Senate.
The meeting’s agenda and materials are available in the upcoming meetings section of the board website. Meetings will begin at 11 a.m. June 2 and 9 a.m. June 3, and public comment is scheduled for the second day.
