Oregon Humanities Center names 2025-26 faculty fellows

The Oregon Humanities Center has named 2025–26 faculty fellows for research and teaching in the humanities.

The center supports and amplifies faculty humanities research to advance knowledge and scholarship. The faculty research fellowships provide University of Oregon faculty with one course release so they can have a term free from teaching to pursue research full time.

Through teaching fellowships, the center fosters the development of innovative courses to enhance students’ educational and career opportunities. Teaching fellowships support the development of new humanistic undergraduate courses and substantial redesign of existing courses. Teaching fellows are offered summer pay and have the option to request course enrichment funds to support course development and to enhance students’ classroom experience.

The awards named by the center include faculty research fellowships, alternates for faculty research fellowships and faculty teaching fellowships. Dissertation fellowships and graduate research support fellowships will be announced in late winter.
