Registration is now open for UO Kids on Campus Day 2026. This annual event gives University of Oregon employees the opportunity to spend quality time with the tweens in their lives while exploring campus through tours, hands-on activities and unique UO experiences. Participating youth should be in grades 4 through 8.
The theme of this year’s event is Engage and Inspire. Organizers hope to spark curiosity, encourage creativity and help young learners imagine their future.
Here is the schedule of events:
- 9 to 9:30 a.m.: Check-in.
- 9:30 to 10:00 a.m.: Welcome and kickoff.
- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Immersive experiences and uniquely UO opportunities.
Lunch will be served in the Carson Dining Hall from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Activity descriptions will be posted on the UO Kids on Campus Day website about two weeks before the event. One popular activity returning this year is “How to Be a Music ConDUCKtor,” led by University of Oregon Chamber Choir Director Sharon Paul. After demonstrating what conductors should (and shouldn’t) do, Paul will invite audience volunteers to lead the choir in the opening bars of the “Hallelujah Chorus.”
Visit the website to register and explore sample activities from last year.
