Staff can share thoughts on getting to and around campus

University of Oregon Transportation Services is seeking feedback through a survey from UO employees on how they get to work, as well as how employees move around the Eugene campus.

The department is currently developing a campus transportation plan that will focus on improving how people access and move around on campus and further support campus green initiatives. This may include changes to motor vehicle parking, improvements to pedestrian and bicycle facilities and amenities, and enhancements to transit services.

The project team began gathering comprehensive information in January. It is expected that the plan will be finalized in May of 2025.

Public engagement is being conducted in two phases. Currently the project is in its first phase to gather information on existing campus infrastructure, its barriers and ideas for improvement. The project team conducted an in-person event to gather feedback from the general campus community during the spring ASUO Street Faire in May.

Other efforts included launching a project website and a virtual open house where the public could provide comments on an interactive map.

The brief survey is anonymous. Employees who complete the survey can, through a separate link, provide their email for a chance to win a $25 Duck Store gift card.
