Summer term parking permit renewals and sales start soon

A staggered set of signup dates will open May 19 for University of Oregon employees who want renew or purchase parking permits for summer term.

Employees who drive to the Eugene campus can purchase a summer academic term parking permit online. Parking lots are divided into 10 zones by location, and permits are offered at three different price points.

Current spring permit holders can renew starting May 19 at 10 a.m. During a “swap week” starting May 27, permit holders who have not renewed their permit have the option to purchase a permit for any available parking zone. Sales to employees who currently do not hold a permit start June 2.

Summer term permits become active June 23. Payroll deduction and student billing will be available until June 9 at 10 a.m.

Over the summer, Transportation Services will be performing lot painting, general maintenance and ADA parking upgrades across campus. Related impacts will be posted on the Transportation Services website.

Transportation Services encourages employees to consider free options of getting to campus if possible, including using Lane Transit District buses, walking or riding a bicycle. Bike registration is free and strongly encouraged.

To remove barriers to not having a car on campus, the UO offers an emergency ride home program in the event of a qualifying emergency.
