Unlock the keys to a sustainable commute with co-workers

University of Oregon employees looking for an alternative and sustainable commuting option can learn about vanpools at a virtual information session on June 5 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Registration is required to receive the online link.

UO Transportation Services collaborates with the Lane Transit District for UO bus passes and organizing vanpools for employees. A vanpool is a group of 5-15 commuters who ride to work together and generally follow a set schedule and route that has been set by the riders themselves. Fares are based on the size of the van and the daily round-trip mileage. Vanpools work best for those who live at least 20 miles away from their workplace and have a consistent work schedule. Financial incentives are available for users.
