Oregon Law students, who began the fall semester last Monday, welcome a first-year class of 128 students from 31 states and three countries.

The grant will provide almost $525,000 a year for five years to help first-in-family, low-income and disabled students.

The UO scored 4.5 out of 5 on the Campus Pride Index, which measures how open and inclusive campuses are to the LGBTQ community.

The program, founded in 2005, aims to expose underserved youth to the college experience and encourage them to enroll.
