The painted steel sculpture by a late UO faculty member is on the Memorial Quad between Prince Lucien Campbell and Condon halls. 
The UO's new leader is holding drop-in hours in August and September and inviting faculty to stop by with books they have authored.
Work on the student union's main entrance is taking longer that initially expected, but the building is scheduled to reopen Aug. 22.
New gift from the Giustina Forest Foundation will secure outstanding leadership and enhance vital library resources.
The graduation ceremony will take place on the Memorial Quad lawn outside the Knight Library this Saturday, Aug. 15.
