UO architecture professor Kevin Nute's new video-animated book, “Vital: Using the Weather to Bring Buildings and Sustainability to Life,” is now available from the iBookstore. The book explains how the natural movements of the sun, wind and rain can be used to improve the well-being of building occupants and raise awareness of sustainable living practices. It shows how architecture, even as it separates people from the natural world, can also be a means of reconnecting them with nature.
