UO President Michael Schill sent the following holiday greeting to all members of the UO community:Dear Campus Community,As the fall term and finals wrap up, I want to wish you all very happy holidays and a safe winter break. My first full academic term as your president leaves me inspired, invigorated, and impressed by the commitment and talent of our community of scholars.
Following her research on the author Octavia Butler, brown will turn to the work of science fiction author Ursula K. Le Guin.
Mossberg will address the 2015 Abroad Writers' Conference later this month in Dublin, Ireland, where she will read from her poetry.
Among other issues, trustees also heard reports on government issues at the state and federal levels and discussed building names.
Dunn and Deady halls are two buildings whose names have raised concerns among students calling for racial equity and respect.
