On Wednesday, June 25, two separate public safety training exercises will occur in buildings near East 13th Avenue and Agate Street on the Eugene campus.  People in this area who see police activity and emergency response should not be concerned or compelled to notify authorities. The activity is expected and part of a planned event. 

• Oregon Hall, fire and evacuation drill, 9 to 10:30 a.m.   
  Employees and visitors will take part in a fire drill exercise, including a building evacuation. Members of the campus community and visitors may see people gathered outside as part of the evacuation.  
   
• Hamilton Hall, Eugene Police Department training, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  
  Training exercises will occur inside the residence hall. Police may be seen entering and exiting the building. Signs will be posted outside and on doors around the training area.
