Second campus forum on arming UO police officers to be Tuesday, Feb. 26

The second of three campus forums to discuss the arming of UO police officers is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the EMU Fir Room. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend.

During the department's transition to a sworn police force, the decision was made to delay requesting permission to arm UO police officers until after the campus had an opportunity to examine the question.
