ASUO Fall Street Faire takes place Oct. 15-17

Corn dogs, funnel cakes, street corn, oh my! Get ready for the return of the biannual street faire beginning Wednesday, Oct. 15.

Many mark the start of the term with the notable influx of Ducks across campuses and the distribution of syllabi in classrooms. For the UO community in Eugene, the October sights, sounds and smells on 13th Avenue are a clear indicator that fall has arrived.

The ASUO Street Faire runs from Oct. 15-17, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will close at 5 p.m. on Friday. Duck students, employees and the community are invited to peruse the local retail and food vendors that line the center of the University of Oregon’s Eugene campus. There will be a different layout to accommodate current campus construction projects and adhere to safety regulations. Those crossing the Eugene campus during the event should expect large crowds and heavy congestion in some areas and may consider alternative routes if attending the event is not part of your plan. Or even better, allow more time to stop by the event and mingle among the community of Ducks.

The Associated Students of the University of Oregon biannual event is coordinated by students. They gain valuable hands-on experience in event planning, communication and management.
