Mailman, the University of Oregon's primary email list service, will experience some rare downtime this week while Information Services performs essential maintenance.

The work is scheduled for Wednesday, June 7, from 5 to 7 a.m.

During that time, email lists at the domain lists.uoregon.edu will be unavailable. Messages sent to those lists are expected to fail. Senders should get bounce notifications.

This work is part of the ongoing data center infrastructure upgrade.

Details about upcoming service outages will be posted on the IT Service Status website. That's also where updates will be posted if any of the work runs long or causes unexpected problems.
