The big wait is almost over.

On Monday, Aug. 21, summer’s total solar eclipse will make landfall in Oregon and travel across the entire continent. Millions of people are expected to flock to Oregon and 13 other states to view it in a 60-mile-wide stretch called the path of totality.  

University of Oregon astrophysicist Scott Fisher answered some of the most common eclipse-related questions in a series of short videos.
