Nominations for officer of administration awards due Aug. 19

The Office of the President and the Officers of Administration Council are accepting nominations for 2019 OA Star honorees.

Selected officers of administration are recognized each year for making positive impacts to the university. This fall, they will be honored in the president’s suite during a UO football game at Autzen Stadium.

The OA Council is looking for nominees whose professional efforts improve the institution and the university community, for those with a spirit of collegiality and vision, and for those who work well with peers and partners across departments.

Nominations of up to three officers of administration are due by 5 p.m., Aug. 19, via an online Qualtrics survey. Each nomination should include a short paragraph that addresses one or more of the following:

  • Excellence in performance
  • Personal interaction
  • Initiative and creativity
  • Commitment to fostering a more inclusive campus community

Recipients will be notified through email by 5 p.m., Aug. 23.
