The Officers of Administration Council and human resources are offering an opportunity for OAs to enhance their leadership and management skills with the annual OA Strategic Leadership Conference on April 24. 

All OAs are encouraged to attend. Sessions will be geared towards managing change in response to the workplace climate survey.

Jayanth Banavar, UO provost and senior vice president, will provide opening remarks. Keynote presenter Matt Coleman will discuss “How Leaders Build, Maintain, and Even Restore Trust in Times of Change.” Coleman is a UO graduate and executive director of Inflexion, a nonprofit consulting group that helps educators prepare students for college and careers.

Other topics include onboarding new employees, strengthening workplace teams to manage change, communicating effectively, networking and other leadership strategies.
