The Classified Staff Leadership Award that rewards “change agents” went to Cameron Mulder, statistical consultant in UO Libraries. Upon accepting his award, he said, “In these times, it is easy to wonder: ‘Do I matter? Does my work matter?’ I’ve seen all that hard work and it matters. The university isn’t buildings ... it isn’t the football team ... the university is the people. We make it great. Thank you to everyone here for all the hard work.”

Another award recognizing exemplary service over a number of years, the Leadership and Service Award for Officers of Administration, was awarded to Melissa Bowers, associate director academic support in the College of Arts and Sciences.

The Lyllye Reynolds-Parker Award for Student Mentoring and Support was given to Barbara Mossberg, professor of practice in the Clark Honors College. Student Joey Swanson introduced her saying, “She makes ideas feel live, and she makes students feel like they have a place among them.”
