University Housing is getting ready for Unpack the Quack, the UO tradition where the campus community pitches in to help new and returning students move into their residence hall rooms to start the new academic year.
Every fall, faculty members, staff, students and community members gather to welcome Ducks home to campus. Campus and community members are again invited to join the flock of volunteers to help students unload and carry their gear into their new homes.
Unpack the Quack will take place Thursday, Sept. 21, and Friday, Sept. 22. Volunteers can register until Wednesday, Sept. 20.
All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt to wear during move-in and a meal voucher when ending their shift. Additional information about volunteering and registering for the event is available online.
