Biography:
David Ewald is an academic expert in design ethics, advocacy communication, and public-interest storytelling, focusing on how design, technology, and culture shape social impact and public responsibility.
His work includes diplomacy and social-impact initiatives with organizations such as UNICEF Lebanon and the Richardson Center for Global Engagement. He has played a key role in hostage and wrongful detainee advocacy through his collaboration with the Bring Our Families Home campaign, contributing to the creation of the U.S. Hostage and Wrongful Detainee Flag and supporting brand development, public installations, and national partnerships, including work with the Phoenix Mercury.
