Biography:
Hannah Waight is an academic expert in media, propaganda, contemporary China, authoritarianism, and social science methodology. Her research explores how authoritarian states directly manipulate and indirectly influence both domestic and global media and data systems. She is also interested in how individuals perceive this influence and its consequences for civic life.
