Biography:
Matthew Polizzotto is an academic expert in environmental health, and soil and water quality. He studies soil and water processes, using field, laboratory and spectroscopic approaches to understand the sources and fate of contaminants. His goal is to help better predict, manage and respond to contaminants that threaten human and environmental health. Matthew can comment on topics including threats to drinking water quality and legacy contaminated sites.
