Parisa Hosseinzadeh is a computational biochemist working to develop new tools to enhance human life, especially through structure-guided rational protein/peptide design and the use of large data. She received an NIH New Innovator Award for her project, “A data-driven approach towards generation of permeable peptide therapeutics.” In her lab, researchers work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team to integrate experimental data and computational methods to discover new solutions.
