UO geologist Qusheng Jin appeared live March 10 on southern Oregon's National Public Radio affiliates Jefferson Public Radio (JPR) to talk about his just-published research on arsenic cycling in the southern Willamette Valley.

In his appearance on the the JPR show The Jefferson Exchange, Jin explained how he came to explore the issue and how his findings, which published online March 9 in the international journal Nature Geoscience, may lead to new strategies to remove toxic arsenic from drinking water sources.
