Duck pride is heading to Salem. On Thursday, April 24, students, faculty, staff and alumni will come together in Salem for UO Day at the Capitol—an annual day of advocacy and celebration highlighting the impact of public higher education across Oregon.
Participants will meet directly with legislators to share why investing in higher education, financial aid, and University of Oregon programs matters for students, the university and communities across Oregon. The event also brings a strong UO presence to the Oregon State Capitol with live performances from UO’s School of Music and Dance, remarks from lawmakers, and plenty of green and yellow, including a special appearance by The Duck.
Sign up now to be part of this important day for students and the university. All employees are welcome to participate. Transportation from Eugene, lunch and a virtual prep session are provided. The deadline to register is Monday, April 17.
