Oregon Secretary of State Kate Brown will discuss electoral reform at the City Club of Eugene meeting at noon today (Jan. 15) in the lounge of UO’s Gerlinger Hall.
Brown will return to the UO March 12, and will revisit the issue of electoral reform at 12:30 p.m., in room 175 of the Knight Law Center.
She originally planned to discuss Oregon’s business climate during her appearance before the City Club at the UO, but changed the topic to electoral reform, which was considered to be of more interest. An opportunity for club members and guests to ask questions will follow her talk. The first questioner will be local businessman Mark Frohnmayer.
Admission is free; members of the public are encouraged to attend.
The mission of the City Club of Eugene is to “build community vision through open inquiry.” The Club explores and helps formulate new approaches and solutions to local, state, and national issues. For more information about the City Club of Eugene, please click here.
