Placards with QR codes are being installed at classroom entrances for spring term to allow for quick reporting of problems such as broken or missing furniture and heating and cooling issues. This is a collaboration between the Office of the Provost and the Location Innovation Lab, with input from the Committee on Academic Infrastructure.
Inspired by Oregon Rising, unique technologies developed at the University of Oregon will provide students, faculty and staff a simple and easy way to report on the conditions of UO classrooms and teaching spaces. The lab will gather feedback at the end of term to make improvements and consider improvements beyond classrooms.
