Oregon’s primary election is May 15, and voters must register by Tuesday, April 24, to receive a ballot.
Those not currently registered or who have moved since the last election and need to update a home address can do so on the Oregon secretary of state’s website, which also contains the Oregon Voter’s Pamphlet with statements from candidates running for federal, state and local offices.
Oregon is a vote-by-mail state. Official ballots will be mailed to home addresses two weeks before the election.
Voters have until the Wednesday before an election to send in ballots by mail. After that, they should be dropped at any official drop box across the state, including at the Erb Memorial Union. Official drop sites can be found using the locator tool.
