A total of 19 Oregon track and field athletes were named Pac-12 All-Academic, the conference announced Thursday. The Ducks had 11 women and eight men who were recognized for their achievement in the classroom.
Casey Campbell was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic First team. Campbell, distance runner currently holds a 3.61 GPA while pursuing a degree in architecture.
T.J. Brassil (3.63, Journalism,), Tim Costin (3.44, General Business) and Bradley Laubacher (3.60, Family and Human Services) were each named to the second team on the men’s side.
Ally Aschbacher and Annie Leblanc were named All-Academic second team on the women’s side. Aschbacher currently holds a 3.75 GPA toward a degree in material and product studies while Leblanc has a 3.81 standing, majoring in human physiology.
The nine honorable mentions for the women’s team were: Laura Bobek, Lauren Crockett, Brittany Mann, Ashley Maton, Megan Patrignelli, Jenna Prandini, Laura Roesler, Rachel Sherrell and Annie Whitfield.
The men had six honorable mentions: Ron Perkins, Parker Stinson, Trent Warren and Daniel Winn.
