Campus Planning and Facilities Management has updated its running list of closures and other activities that affect travel, access and planning on campus.
Employees can stayed informed by visiting the campus closures, shutdowns and detours website or by checking the UO campus map construction impacts.
The latest notifications include:
New:
- 13th Avenue Garage south elevator down for emergency repairs.
- Oregon Hall rooms 158, 160, 163, 167, 169, 170, 177, 179 and 181 walls will be painted, through Oct. 3.
- Parking lot 34B, between Vivian Olum Child Development Center and the Many Nations Longhouse, will be closed for construction and the addition of accessible spaces, Sept. 30-Oct. 24.
- 1776 Millrace fire alarm testing to cause noise, Oct. 1.
- 1776 Millrace HVAC system testing and balancing in project areas, Oct. 1-2.
- Campus air handling unit preventative maintenance schedule for October will include Huestis Hall, Lokey Labs, Johnson Hall, Tykeson Hall, McKenzie Hall, Collier House and the University Motor Pool.
- Onyx Bridge dock will be unavailable while a boom truck is staged to set equipment on the Onyx Bridge lower roof, Oct. 2.
- Between Onyx Bridge and Cascade Annex, a diesel generator will be placed on the sidewalk and run off and on for 5 to 6 hours, Oct. 13.
