Campus Planning and Facilities Management has updated its running list of closures and other activities that affect travel, access and planning on campus.
Employees can stay informed by visiting the campus closures, shutdowns and detours website or by checking the UO campus map construction impacts.
The latest notifications include:
New:
- Campuswide summer door locking schedule, through Sept. 28.
- Deschutes Hall exterior window cleaning, through July 2.
- Agate Hall exterior window cleaning, through July 2.
- Johnson Hall exterior window cleaning, June 30-July 10.
- Parker Black Cultural Center exterior window cleaning, June 30-July 10.
- Campus air handling unit preventative maintenance July schedule will affect University Business Operations Center, Prince Lucien Campbell Hall, EC Cares Modular Classroom (190), EC Cares Modular Westmoreland, EC Cares Fern Ridge, EC Cares Modular Springfield High School, EC Cares Main Office and Condon Hall.
- McArthur Court domestic cold water offline to repair a leak, July 6.
- UO Portland Gymnasium will undergo Concordia unbranding and UO branding, July 13-Sept. 25.
- Onyx Bridge Room 360 abatement and remodeling work, July 23-Aug. 31.
- UO Portland campus fire system testing and maintenance, July 28-29.
Updated:
- Knight Library Plaza Restoration: The east portion of the walkway between Knight Library and Gerlinger Annex is fenced off as a staging area for the contractor, through Oct. 30.
- Knight Library Plaza Restoration: The pedestrian ADA pathway west of Schnitzer Museum of Art and northeast of Knight Library will be modified, through July 3.
- Willamette Hall Reroofing Project: Doors at the southwest corner 103A and 103B will be open during the campus summer locking schedule June 22 – Sept. 28.
- Summer 2026 campus fire system testing and maintenance work continues, affecting many buildings for the month of July.
