University Health Center is offering seasonal flu shots to UO students, faculty and staff Oct. 18 and 26. The special vaccination clinics will run 8 to 11 a.m. at the health center.

Flu shots are covered by the UO Student Health Benefits Plan and by the UO employee health insurance plans. The health center will also courtesy bill other health plans, or shots can be paid for with cash or check at the time of service.

The cost for flu shots is $20 for students and $30 for faculty and staff. Participants are reminded to bring their current UO ID card and their insurance card.

Students can also schedule appointments through myUOHealth to receive their flu shots at times other than these special vaccination events.

The health center plans additional flu shot clinics in November, with specific dates and locations to be announced.
