Free writing workshop with a focus on transition offered

In just an hour a week for five weeks, University of Oregon employees can learn how journaling can help them process transitions, grow resilience and imagine new possibilities during a season of upheaval.

The Write@Work fall workshop series theme is Transitions and Imagining “The Next.” The free Wednesday sessions that start Oct. 22 are held at noon over Zoom and the final class will be an in-person gathering with lunch.

Session dates and topics:

  • Session 1: Oct. 22: Naming the Transition.
  • Session 2: Oct. 29: Holding Space for Tension.
  • Session 3: Nov. 5: Resilience and Resourcefulness.
  • Session 4: Nov. 12: Imagining “The Next”.
  • Session 5: Nov. 19: Carrying Forward.

By registering for the opening session, employees agree to attend all five sessions to the best of their ability. Register in MyTrack (Duck ID login required).
