University Communications provides training about the University of Oregon brand. The next session for fall term is Nov. 4 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in Room 403 of the Ford Alumni Center. A Zoom option is also available. Registration is now open.
For subsequent workshops, registration will open approximately one month prior to each date. The final fall term session is Dec. 2. Employees only need to attend one session.
While open to all, this training is geared toward faculty and staff whose primary position is not in marketing and communications but do have job responsibilities related to communications or regularly apply the UO brand in their work.
The 90-minute gathering is an opportunity to learn about compliance, how to incorporate the university’s intellectual property into departmental work and have questions answered by the UO brand experts. The training covers a range of topics, including visual identity, logos and marks, trademark and licensing, and ordering merchandise.
