All employees at the University of Oregon have a hand in helping students succeed in their education and beyond. A donation to the Career Closet provides an immediate and tangible way to assist them. The University Career Center and the UO Student Sustainability Center host the Career Closet Nov. 17, and employees can donate interview-ready outfits.
Donation bins will be set up around the Eugene campus in October and November:
- University Career Center: Tykeson Hall Garden Level 050.
- Student Sustainability Center: 005 Erb Memorial Union.
- Ford Alumni Center: Front desk (first floor), 1720 East 13th Avenue.
- Lillis Hall: Main entrance.
- HEDCO Education: Main entrance.
Appropriate new or gently used business casual and business professional clothes include suits, blazers, dresses, pants, skirts, polos and button-up shirts, as accessories such as ties, belts and purses.
Don’t have extra clothes? Find other ways to help students: donate time or money or organize a clothing drive.
