Campus Planning and Facilities Management has updated its running list of closures and other activities that affect travel, access and planning on campus.
Employees can stay informed by visiting the campus closures, shutdowns and detours website or by checking the UO campus map construction impacts.
The latest notifications include:
New:
- 1776 Millrace commons areas undergoing patching and painting, through June 9.
- Johnson Hall east garden level will be updated, through June 12.
- Erb Memorial Union exterior windows to be cleaned, through June 5.
- Campus air handling unit preventative maintenance June schedule will affect 1776 Millrace, Streisinger Hall, Willamette Hall, Columbia Hall, McMorran House, McArthur Court, 1600 Millrace and Millrace Garage.
- 1776 Millrace rooms 265A and 369 office furniture moving by vendor, June 3.
- Portland gymnasium fitness center closed during wheelchair lift work, June 15-17.
- Klamath Hall Room 239A demo and abatement of old utilities and equipment, June 15-26.
- Knight Library Exterior Renovation Phase C will restore the north plaza area, June 19-Oct. 30. Fencing will go up June 16.
- Unthank Hall intermittent power outages during electrical work connecting power to new open spaces on the north side, June 16-19.
Updated:
- Lot 43 (south of Knight Law Center) Asphalt Replacement Project: Work has been rescheduled through June 29.
- Friendly Hall Renovation Project: The next round of concrete shotcrete installation truck traffic was rescheduled and will intermittently affect bikes, pedestrians and vehicle traffic on East 13th Avenue, June 2-9.
