Proposals are being accepted for the newly established Renée James Seed Grant Initiative, which will help research projects with the potential for significant external funding from federal agencies or foundations.

James graduated from the University of Oregon with an undergraduate degree in political science and an MBA. She is the chair and CEO of Ampere Computing.

Tenure-track faculty members in the College of Arts and Sciences can apply for up to $50,000 for work between July 1, 2019, and June 30, 2020. Faculty members can apply as a sole investigator or as part of a new collaborative team.
