Major gifts continue to roll in to the UO’s historic $2 billion fundraising campaign, and the latest addition was featured in the state’s two largest newspapers.
Both The Register-Guard and The Oregonian featured the $6 million gift by the Quest Fund to the College of Education. The gift will endow the college’s HEDCO Clinic, which provides low-cost counseling services to children and families in Lane County.
"Our long-term vision is to expand the college's clinic and capabilities to become the educational and social-services equivalent of a modern teaching hospital," UO President Michael Schill told the papers.
